Torishima delivers a wide range of surface preparation and industrial painting solutions, through our qualified specialists.  In the field of surface preparation, we use hand and mechanical techniques, including ultra high pressure water jetting, grit blasting and vapour blasting.

Torishima's National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) certified coating inspectors have the capabilities to carry out specification review, fault finding and third party inspections.

Our focus is on the application of protective coating systems that provide excellent corrosion control, best value, whilst we minimise the risk to workers and the environment.

Specialist Systems for Surface and Moisture Tolerance

Torishima’s system is a wet & rust tolerant, two pack, high solids MIO - Zinc epoxy which can be utilised either as a one coat primer/finish with good UV resistance or as a high performance coating which can be over-coated with colour topcoats. It is compatible with many aged paint systems, including epoxies, acrylics and other single pack materials.

With these characteristics, Torishima can coat in almost all weather conditions and give our coating system a life expectancy of 15-20 years.
